Disinfectant Service

Disinfecting uses chemicals (disinfectants) to kill germs on surfaces and objects. Some common disinfectants are bleach and alcohol solutions. You usually need to leave the disinfectant on the surfaces and objects for a certain period of time to kill the germs.

Disinfection methods include thermal and chemical processes. Moist heat may be used for items such as crockery, linen and bedpans e.g. automated processes in a machine. Specific chemical disinfectants can be used to decontaminate heat sensitive equipment and the environment.
